these women of tibetan burmese descent are known for their beauty. 5 to 7 thousand little girls are trafficked every year to indian brothels. i was there helping an NGO take pictures of the little girls to establish a photo database to help track the traffickers at the borders.

The installation takes the form of an observation of a surgical experiment in progress. The ‘surgeon’ is dissecting the craft object to see what is within. He finds craft through and through.

“How Alice Hides”
Took an insane amount of photos today. It was beautiful out. I realized I center my subjects a lot. I honestly prefer it. Nobody does it anymore because we were all taught it was incorrect and unoriginal. Therefore it became dynamic again.

I love the gigantic tea cup, where did you find that?!?
